Welcome parents/guardians and community members!
We welcome parent questions/input throughout the presentation! We want to make sure you leave the meeting informed about the Title I program as well as the opportunities the school provides to get involved.
1. What is a Title I school?

3. How does our school participate in the Title I Program?
4. What are our school’s Title I (schoolwide or targeted assistance) requirements?
5. DeRenne Middle School Improvement Program – Past and Present

  • What are our school improvement goals?
  • 100% of our students reading on, or above, their grade level
  • By the end of the 2026 SY, we will increase the percentage of students performing in levels 2-4 from 34% to 37%.
    • What programs/supports are in place to help my child?
  • Utilize student academic assessments.
  • Consider data collected on student proficiency levels when developing lesson plans
  • Provide additional assistance for struggling students.
